Acceleration Programme

Driving the adoption of AI in the UK

Digital Catapult launched an accelerator programme as part of BridgeAI, an Innovate UK national programme that seeks to stimulate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies in agriculture, creative, construction, and transport. 

FutureScope BridgeAI is a 12-week accelerator programme for UK-based startups and SMEs to help them develop responsible, ethical and desirable AI and ML deep-tech solutions. 

Digital Catapult has successfully partnered with a diverse range of collaborators and industry leaders to offer access to computation power, technical and business expertise, and industry-leading support on applied AI ethics.

Digital Catapult was looking for use cases which aim to develop existing or new solutions, services or innovative experimental prototypes which demonstrate to solve real-world problems in key sectors – agriculture, creative, construction, and transport.

BridgeAI is jointly delivered by Innovate UK KTN, Digital Catapult, The Alan Turing Institute and the Hartree Centre and funded by Innovate UK. More information about the programme can be found here.

Applying to and participating in FutureScope is free.

Subject to availability and third-party terms, get access to computational power provided by the Programme Industry Partners:

  • Up to $25k for two years in Amazon Web Services (AWS) credits
  • Up to $200,000 in Graphcore IPU cloud credits
  • Up to six months of free YellowDog multi-cloud platform license
  • Up to $5,000 MongoDB credits and $1000 Miro Credits
  • Google cloud credits are provided in either Start Tier or Scale Tier.
    • Start Tier: Up to $2,000 USD in Google Cloud credits, valid for two years
    • Scale Tier: 20% up to an additional $100,000 USD for the second year (Scale Tier)
