Visualax aims to bridge the gap between the thriving music and gaming sectors. At present, there's a missed opportunity: both industries overlook the rich possibilities that augmented reality (AR) has to offer. This has limited fans from deeply connecting with music and musicians, affecting artists' outreach and revenue potential.

Introducing "Genbeat", Visualax's pioneering AR app, designed to redefine music engagement. Genbeat harnesses a song's rhythm, melody, and lyrics to craft 3D visuals tailored to the artists preferences using Generative AI, blending them seamlessly with their physical surroundings. It's more than just visuals; it's an entire immersive musical universe right on your smartphone.

Through Genbeat, artists and fans can craft stunning 3D music worlds with gaming elements, offering everyone with a smartphone a unique 360° AR musical journey. Moreover, it's efficient, ensuring prolonged enjoyment without the usual tech drawbacks. Users can enjoy "over" two hours of playtime without overheating their phones or batteries. They can also play the best AR music and rhythmic music games on their smartphone with our state-of-the-art graphics.

Beyond entertainment, Genbeat seeks to make music creation more inclusive, reaching corners of society typically overshadowed in the music tech evolution. Genbeat will democratise music production and transform music accessibility and participation across society. It will promote inclusion and diversity, facilitating music visualisation creation for those who traditionally lack access, such as economically disadvantaged or disabled individuals.

Creative Colab AI Ltd. develops AI-powered networked haptic devices that push the boundaries of human-computer interaction.

Our devices are designed to:
· Create highly engaging experiences in public spaces
· Help people more effectively express themselves
· Better understand user needs, wants and desires.

Our current project, “momo” is an AI-powered split-flap device designed to be deployed in public spaces such as retailers, stadiums, amusement parks, historical sites, festivals & fairs and other public spaces.
Imagine walking into a bustling public space or retail store and being greeted by a retro yet technologically advanced split-flap display, reminiscent of the golden age of railway stations. The split-flap is networked and interactive, powered by AI.

The split-flap dynamically presents information based on real-time data and user inputs. Users can interact with the display through voice commands, asking questions or requesting specific details.

The AI processes the input, accessing a networked database, and updating the split-flap to showcase the desired information. This allows retailers to showcase daily specials, answer product-related queries and engage promotions, turning the shopping experience into a delightful interactive journey. Additionally, organisations are able to capture valuable data about visitor needs and interests (anonymously and safely).

Beyond its practical uses, the nostalgic charm of the split-flap combined with modern AI technology creates an attraction in itself, making public spaces more lively and engaging.
Momo’s “brain” can be deployed in a wide range of “bodies” and different use cases. We envisage a range of potential IOT applications as well as education/training, entertainment and cultural/artistic applications.

Kelp Technologies is a SME that collates, processes and analyses product data from the internet and uses it to provide market-wide solutions in the second hand fashion industry.

The key technological innovation will be to deliver "AutolD": a large-scale information processing and retrieval system that leverages a suite of computer vision and LP algorithms to locate the same garments available at multiple online destinations.

This enables Kelp to compare the qualities and attributes of garments for sale online, delivering industry leading insights and services to consumers and businesses alike.
The second-hand market is expected to grow 127% by 2026 with online resale increasing by 4x. The fashion industry must be more efficient, deliver improved customer experience and switch to data driven decision-making if it is to meet its rapid expansion.

This product helps this expansion by:
Reducing Market Asymmetry and Enhancing The Buying Experience: The ability to find multiple versions of the same item from different retailers in one place and to see ancillary information, such as previous resale prices, is a significant benefit for the end-consumer.

Time/Resource Savings: Automated garment identification streamlines the listing process, saving time for fashion resale businesses, who currently manually sort and tag each item, enabling them to scale efficiently.
Improved Profit Margins: The grouping of like items and the ability to search by multiple criteria enables resellers to price items accurately increasing resale probability and profit margins.

Data Aggregation/Insights: The aggregation of data from diverse platforms helps fashion resellers and researchers gain insights into trends and sales patterns at a granular level.

Agave Networks is a B2B online platform for the domestic and international exchange of recovered metals using digital product passports for materials' existence, quality & shipment verification.

We help scrap yards and foundries worldwide to trade recovered metals openly and securely, eliminating the need for personal trust, which can be expensive, time-consuming and risky. Our platform creates immutable digital product passports for each recovered metal a supplier wants to trade. By using computer vision algorithms, our algorithm verifies the materials' existence, quality and shipment, enabling a secure, efficient and open marketplace for recovered metals.

We gather images and videos from our users’ scrap metal offers using available infrastructure like cameras and smartphones, and our CV algorithms validate the material's existence, quality and even shipments. Agave Networks is the only end-to-end solution enabling businesses in the metal recycling and recovering value chain to engage in a secure, efficient and reliable trade, helping the industry take a step further into becoming an open-marketplace and net-zero.

Material Index is a UK-based Construction Technology SME founded by a team of software developers, engineers, and architects, that enables construction material reuse at scale.

Construction is responsible for over 50% of UK waste by volume, and reuse rates are currently below 2%. Material Index digitises construction projects and real-estate assets to deliver 10x improvement in reuse rates, by closing the loop between deconstruction and construction.

The process inventories buildings to their constituent components and makes this asset register legible to building owners through an online platform. Material Index helps decision-making for building owners by providing insights on properties such as embodied carbon, ease of extraction, and exchange value. Material Index also provides traceability on the next life of building components through material passports.
Material Index uses AI to increase the speed, safety and accuracy of digitisation. MI is exploring the ability to extract metrics from segmented Neural Radiance Field (NeRF) models. This enables audit data to be captured using standard phone cameras and automates the classification, counting and measuring of elements.

Our built environment is responsible for approximately 40% of Carbon emissions, approximately half of which is in the embodied Carbon of construction materials. Our models of redevelopment must embrace material reuse in order to meet our Net Zero targets. Material Index is committed to enabling the transition to a circular built environment.

The goal of achieving net zero by 2050 requires the mining industry to reduce its carbon footprint, which currently accounts for approximately 8% of the global carbon footprint. Most metals needed for clean technologies (e.g. lithium and nickel for electric car batteries, copper for electrification, iron for wind turbines) and everyday life (e.g. tens of metals for an iPhone) are extracted from open-pit mines. By implementing more efficient pit walls, the industry could save 200 million metric tonnes of CO2-equivalent carbon emissions and $7 billion per year in direct excavation costs globally.

To address this challenge, OptimalSlope Ltd commercialises a new and unique geotechnical software programme which determines optimal pitwall shapes for metalliferous open pit mines so that the overall steepness of the pitwall, from crest to toe, is maximised for the given lithology and rock properties. OptimalSlope’s innovation (Slope Optimiser) can determine the steepest, optimal slope profiles for any given input lithology, as well as visualise and export the output into strategic mine planning software.

OptimalSlope’s core value proposition to customers is that it offers mine owners a new software tool (Slope Optimiser) for designing mine pit walls. By using Slope Optimiser, mine owners can increase their mine excavation efficiency, leading to profitability increases of up to 50%. Additionally, Slope Optimiser can help reduce the mine carbon footprint in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 20% on average and decrease the number of rock tailings. Mine designers will benefit from a much more automated design process that requires fewer manual operations. This will result in a safer and more consistent mine design process.

Our next milestone is to achieve a 10-50 fold code execution time speedup using Machine Learning (ML).
